The hotel was located just off the Bay of Roses, Catalunya and castle at Requesens. Excellent service, though a few employees were not so helpful. The rooms were new-fashioned and huge, equipped with a mini fridge bar, air conditioning, and an individual safe. The location of the property was beautiful, on the hillside above Cantallops.

The location was very very poor, it's a pitty.

This place has a beautifully decorated room, a cozy bed, and a charming atmosphere, located in a peaceful spot near the mountains, Requesens castle, and with excellent service just outside La Jonquera.

We stayed at the Can Xiquet hotel as a weekend getaway. We had high expectations because of the photos we had seen and truth is that the hotel did not disappoint us. It is a hotel with extensive facilities and a long list of services (swimming pool, paddle tennis courts, small playground, event rooms, games / reading room, free parking within the facilities, free bike rental service, gym... Everything in general seemed perfect and treatment of the staff very professional but we stand out above all:. breakfast (especially the orange juice and pasta!!! hotel facilities and fact that, for example, paddle tennis court was free. little big detail that the minibar is free. room (big, elegant and very cosy). spacious bathroom too. restaurant. You could do half board if you stayed in the hotel and menu seemed very correct to us both in quantity and quality of the food and in relation quality/price. For all this and much more, if you are in the area and want a stay with all the details, hotel Can Xiquet is a good choice.

To say the least, two little details:. - There are two WIFIS open and depending on which areas it didn't reach with too much power. - In the rooms we found to lack some more plug

I didn't like the value for money of the restaurant or the person who served us, who was unprofessional. We asked for a white wine and it wasn't cold enough so they didn't serve it to us and left it in the ice bucket waiting for it to get cold. wine was just right after dinner. All this without giving us any notice or option. They made a mistake with my second course, they put me a dish from the menu because it didn't appear on the menu. when I let them know, they told me that I could change it, that I had to wait 15 meters, while my partner had his finished dish on the table (a finished monkfish). So I continue with my dish but at no time does this person show any appreciation. How awful! We wanted to eat the next day but we didn't. Expensive for the quality of the dishes and service.

Cozy double room for a night, and we had a fantastic time. the vibe was really unique and felt special. 🌟

Beautiful hotel and surrounds. Luxury throughout, we stayed in low season so a great rate. We hiked to castle at Requesens for an enjoyable day out.

Breakfast was a little poor in comparison with the dinner. Air condition in the room was not working well and it took about 2 hours to get at an acceptable temperature.

As always a perfect hotel and we have been going there for more than 10 years. Sometimes we bring our labrador and everything is great.

The hotel's amenities were absolutely mind-blowing, with a jaw-droppingly large swimming pool that we enjoyed every day. The on-site paddle court was super fun and we loved playing a few games. The breakfast spread was incredibly tasty and complete, with a wide variety of fruits, yogurts, cheeses, meats. The staff at reception and the cleaning staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The Junior Suite was amazing, with a spacious layout, a large bathroom, and a fantastic balcony furnished with sun loungers and a table and chairs. The views from the balcony were simply spectacular. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were escorted to our room. The meal we had in the restaurant was lovely, and there were plenty of options for breakfast as well. The style of the hotel was really impressive and we can't wait to return. The location of the hotel was also wonderful, surrounded by mountains and offering breathtaking views. The Catalonian cuisine served at the hotel was outstanding, and the breakfast, which was brought to our table, was extensive and delicious. The terrace was incredibly nice, providing an amazing view over the valley.
